The Gorilla captain was an officer from the Marines who was sent to investigate the Barujimoa Nightmare Incidentally caused by Franky.
Appearance

Captain Gorilla's face really looks like, gorilla. He has big furry sideburns, certain noses that resemble people like gorillas. On his head he wears a standard Marine hat. He wore a suit that matched the cold climate island he was sent to investigate something. He wore a fleece-sports robe lined with a Marine emblem on it and his shoulders were like a long coat with pockets on it. On his back he carried a standard flintlock rifle.
Personality
Despite his appearance rather like an animal, Gorilla seems to be a calm man, willing to carry out orders. He is also logical because he refuses to immediately jump to conclusions about Franky while staying on Karakuri Island.
Ability and Authority
After being sent to Karakuri Island to investigate the incident caused by Franky, it can be assumed that he had some investigative skills. This theory seems to be reinforced by the fact that he refused to immediately jump to conclusions clearly when his men reported to him.
He carries a rifle, and becomes a Marine officer, it can be assumed that he is good at using it.
History
One After Other Incident
After the Nightmare of Barujimoa took place, Gorilla was sent to the ruined kingdom of Barjimoa to investigate what really happened. From what he and his men gathered, the other actor is CyborgFranky from the Straw Hat Pirates. But Gorilla has doubts about whether this is true, considering the last crew was seen on the Sabaody Islands and the fact that their captain, Monkey D. Luffy, had participated in the Battle of Marineford. The only way to get to Barujimoa, the Gorilla knows is through the use of a large icebreaker and no sightings from the beginning of each conversation that has been reported. Besides that, Gorilla also knew that it could be one of the many royal cyborgs whose body shape could be wrong like Franky. Despite doubts, Gorilla decided to accompany the search party to the mountains. There, he and his men had the unfortunate luck of facing up like tigers, so they all screamed in fear, not knowing in fact that Franky was running because the tiger skin carpet he was wearing had been burned. Unaware of the truth, the incident became a legend known as "The Legend that Creepy Barujimoa Burned Animals" and was passed down from generation to generation.
