Bartolomeo the Kanibal is a super rookie, captain of the Barto Club group . He was among the gladiators who competed to get the Mera Mera no Mi in the Corrida Colosseum.
Appearance
Bartolomeo is a pretty tall man, has light green hair like wild rockers and doesn't have eyebrows. In general, his face is like a demon, with sharp fangs and nose piercing rings. There are two rows of tattoos under his right eye that circle toward the ear.
He also has a large black tattoo in front of his chest. He wore a dark purple open coat with furry collar and cuffs and checkered baggy pants and black boots. Behind the coat is a jolly picture. It has a brightly colored ring belt with a chain on the left. He also has a weapon tucked into the front of his pants.
Bartolomeo Eats Bari Bari No Mi, a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit that allows him to be a person who has a barrier. He uses his Devil Fruit powers to protect himself and attack his opponents.
Barriers that seem to be very durable, such as attacks from powerful individuals like Hack and Bellamy do not have an effect and in turn end up destroying themselves. This power even managed to block the "King Punch" Elizabello II attack.
He can also use the Barrier to attack his enemies. This was seen at first when Bartolomeo used a technique called "Barrier Crash !!!" to destroy Elizabello II at the end of Battle Royale Group B.

Bartolomeo seems to care deeply about his crew. It could be seen when he replied to Maynard's treatment to Gambia.
Straw Hat Pirates
Bartolomeo was an admirer of Luffy's fanatics since the events of Loguetown so on. He continued to follow the Straw Hat Pirates' lunge through the newspaper. Bartolomeo also admires the entire crew as a whole. He said that he followed all the news about them and looked dumbfounded when he met Luffy and Zoro.
Oda has not confirmed the position of Deputy Captain in the Straw Hats. However, Bartolomeo reveals that for him, Zoro is the Deputy Captain in the Straw Hat Pirates.
Monkey D. Luffy
Bartolomeo was in Loguetown two years ago when he witnessed Luffy being saved by lightning from Buggy's extravagance. From that moment on, he changed his amazement and admired him and followed all the news about Luffy and the Straw Hats. Then after the war at Marineford helped inspire him to stop being a mafia leader and start a life of piracy.
His level of admiration is described as a severe excessive obsession. When he met Luffy, he could barely speak and fainted several times. He will even fight anyone who dares to oppose Luffy. Bartolomeo had stated that the straw hat captain would become the next pirate king. Then after Sabo's arrival, Bartolomeo stated that he would help get the Mera Mera no Mi for him.
Bellamy
Bartolomeo has an interesting relationship with Bellamy. They were initially hostile in the fight in Block B. But when Dellinger was ordered to get rid of Bellamy, Bartolomeo came to save and protect him. Barto reasoned that even though they were enemies when fighting on the same battlefield, now they were friends and would defend him when he needed them.
Cavendish
He initially respected Cavendish quite well because he was a famous pirate. But after Cavendish said he would kill Luffy, Bartolomeo grew very angry. He increasingly dislikes it when Cavendish starts attacking Luffy, but is helpless to do anything except throw a few small insults.
Ability and Strength
He is a super rookie and is recognized for his excellence by the Navy. This means he has several skills that make him stand out. He is very tough. Seen when he defeated Maynard's classmate without significant resistance. Then, he was able to win Block B without having to bother (even initially he just lay relaxed between battles) and joined in fighting on an equal level with Sabo and Rebecca while fighting the Diamante.
Devil Fruit
Bartolomeo eats Devil Fruit Bari Bari no Mi, the Paramecia type that gives him the ability to create a kind of invisible barrier . Thanks to this ability, Bartolomeo has very strong defensive abilities. He uses his abilities by crossing his middle finger over his index finger. He can use this barrier to protect himself and others from enemy attacks. This shield seems impossible to penetrate. Shield can block strong attacks from Hack and Bellamy. The shield even managed to block Elizabello II's powerful "King Punch" attack.
