Gladius is a member of the Donquixote Family under the command of Pica.
Appearance
Gladius is a man with long, pointed hair. He wore a long dark coat that covered the body, with metal dots on the arms and chest, and metal gear wheels on the elbows, and wore appropriate boots. He wears a kind of ninja mask that blends with round glasses that cover part of his face. He was also seen wearing a hat while talking to Baby 5, and wearing a metal helmet when he met Luffy and Violet.
Personality
Gladius, like most of Doflamingo's subordinates, treats his "young master" with great respect, he turns angry when he learns Violet's betrayal. He values timeliness and follows and executes orders efficiently and hates those who do not meet those standards.
Despite the respect he showed for his "young master," he was unable to distinguish between Doflamingo and Kinemon in disguise.
Relationship
Donquixote Doflamingo
Gladius had great respect for his captain, because he quickly took revenge for Violet's betrayal. Gladius is also quite overprotective to shoot Baby 5 when he tries to attack Doflamingo, while the other members don't seem to care.
Baby 5
Gladius and Baby 5 seem to have a rather strange relationship. On the one hand he seemed to not hesitate to shoot Baby 5 who tried to disrupt Doflamingo (it should be noted that Baby 5's abilities were not effective against various weapons). On the other hand, the two were later seen sitting together talking casually about Violet's betrayal.
Violet
Gladius seemed to place great trust in Violet's ability, agreeing on her key role in defeating the Straw Hats. But after hearing the news of his betrayal, Gladius was quite surprised and turned angry. Then, he quickly acted to punish him for that.
Ability and Strength
As one of the Doflamingo crew, Gladius appears as a formidable fighter. He has a large immune system. Seen he was not too affected when hit by Gear Second Luffy's attack. He is also very fast. He easily caught Kabudan Rambo, a dwarf who was known to have high speed, and later the Thunder Soldier.
